Twitter is becoming 1 big spam machine! [pic]

Have you been noticing all the junk ads that are pouring into Twitter?

Check out how much crap I have. All the tweets in the screenshot below came in a 1-minute period today.

In addition to spam, I get crap DM's from people who want me to see what they scored on a quiz or sent me a hug or need me to join their mob.

What people on Twitter really care about.

People on Twitter like reading about Twitter.

Try it. Post links or questions about Twitter on Twitter. I bet you'll see that your links will get clicked on and your Tweets will be replied to (unless what you say is really lame or you don't have followers).

These are some of my stats. Do you agree with my conclusions?

5 Reasons Power-Twitter Users Might Love Posterous

I started using Posterous it's weekend. It's a web app that lets me quickly post to Twitter/Facebook/Flickr/Blog/etc from my email or the web. I think Power-Twitterers will like it because it lets them:

Tweet pictures on the go
This is the only reason I started using Posterous. I needed an easy way to take a picture on my phone and tweet it. This is the fastest method I tried.

Say more than 140-characters
Sometimes what I have to say takes more than 140-characters. Posterous gives me room to write more.

Start instantly
I didn't even mean to set up or use Posterous. But setting it up was so easy that I was even able to put it on my own domain, andrewwarner.com.

Get statistics
Posterous shows me how many people click on my links and view my pictures. That helps me figure out what people like and what I should shut up about.

Be Facebook friendly
Facebook users hate those TinyURLs that people post through Twitter. With Posterous I can post a full picture to Facebook while only posting a short URL to Twitter.

These are my early impressions. I might change my mind tomorrow if you recommend something better.
